Episode 36 : An Interview with Vinay Hegde | Developments in Painting and Sculptural Media | Final episode of the Three-Part Interview Series with Vinay Hegde This episode presents an enlightening conversation beneficial to artists, students and art enthusiasts across disciplines. The discussion explores stylistic variations in painting and sculpture, the diversity of approaches in the use of stone, along with its possibilities and limitations, and whether sculptural stones are polished or refined during the creative process. The episode also addresses guidance and suggestions for present-day students interested in visual and sculptural arts, the concept of rasa-bhava in painting and sculpture, and the possibilities, limitations, advantages, and longevity involved in creating artworks intended to evoke particular aesthetic experiences.
