Part 1- Episode 33: How do theatre/art/Nāṭya accommodate and harmonise concepts such as Lokavṛttānukaraṇa (imitation of worldly life), Avasthānukaraṇa (representation of states and situations), Bhāvānukīrtana (evocation and expression of emotions), and Svabhāvānudarśana (depiction of inherent nature)? Why did Bharata Muni employ all these terminologies in his description of Nāṭya? From the perspectives of both the artist and the spectator and in the context of the idea that Rasa is ultimately indescribable (anirvacanīya), how should these concepts be understood in a gradual and layered manner?
